FAQ.
Quick answers and step-by-step help for using your campaign media.
How do I use my badge?
Badges work almost anywhere: email signatures, social posts, your profile picture frame, your website footer, or presentation slides. Use PNG for most places, SVG for websites and print, and JPEG where PNG is not accepted.
- Download your badge as PNG.
- Social post: attach the image to a post and write a line on why digital exclusion is not OK. Add alt text such as “Badge: Not OK with digital exclusion.”
- Website: upload the SVG or PNG and place it in your footer or about page, with the same alt text.
- Email signature: add the badge image straight into your email signature, the same way as the email signature designs below.
- Wherever you add your badge, feel free to link it to this campaign page so others can join too.
How do I add the email signature?
- Download the signature as PNG.
- Gmail: Settings (gear) → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new → insert image → Save changes.
- Outlook: Settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature → insert image → Save.
- Apple Mail: Mail → Settings → Signatures → + → drag the image in.
- Add alt text if your email app allows it, and link the image to the campaign page.
How do I add the LinkedIn background?
- Download the background as PNG.
- Open your LinkedIn profile.
- Click the camera/pencil icon in the top right of your current background.
- Choose “Upload photo”, select the file, adjust the position, and click Apply.
Is it free?
Yes. Everything in the kit is free to download and use.
Does the badge mean my website is accessible?
No. The badge shows you support digital inclusion. It is not a quality stamp or certification.
